Worship: 9:00 a.m. Celebration Service

This service has been designed with children and families in mind.

We begin worship together, and then children three years old through sixth grade are led out by one of our Pastors to Sunday School during the service. This allows both the children and the adults to experience the Word of God.

The 9:00 AM service is more informal. We sing more contemporary songs and the special music covers a wide range from children’s choirs to rock bands. The prayers and language used in worship is also less traditional. On the whole the 9:00 AM service is designed to be fun as well as worshipful.

The 9:00am service has a come-as-you-are attitude. No matter what you wear to church that day you will probably see someone else dressed similarly. On any Sunday you will find anything from shorts and sandals, to dresses and ties.

Nursery is provided for infant through three years, including special needs children.

(We included descriptions of dress only to make you feel comfortable. These suggestions are only meant to be descriptive, not rules. Please feel free to wear whatever you feel most comfortable in.)

After the Service
There is almost always an informal gathering on the large patio in front of the church after service. Adults will have coffee (and sometimes other goodies!) while the kids run and play on our giant playground (and sometimes they steal the goodies).
