Our Pastor

Pastor Jennie previously served as a senior pastor at Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church (ELCA) in Simi Valley, CA. She attended the Lutheran Theological Seminary in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, where she earned her Master of Divinity Degree in 2012 with honors in Old Testament studies. Her undergraduate degree is from St. John's College in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Her husband Steve Simpson is also a pastor in the ELCA and accepted a call with New Hope in Agoura Hills. They share their home with two cats, a dog, and a snake.
