What, you may ask, does a puppet have to do with our offerings to Shepherd of the Valley? Frankly, it isn’t about the puppet. It is about REFRAMING giving as something we do with JOY, in HAPPINESS, and through GRATITUDE. It is about being a CHEERFUL GIVER to Shepherd of the Valley.

 

If the puppet makes you smile, perhaps you are reminded of all the ways Jesus brings joy and cheer to your life. In 2 Corinthians, we are reminded that “God Loves a cheerful giver” and that is why we've selected CHEERFUL GIVING as the theme of our Stewardship Campaign. Think of Shepherd of the Valley as a place that brings you comfort and joy, maybe even a little fun, and consider your pledge with that in mind.

As you consult your budget, please read through this packet and consider the value Shepherd of the Valley brings to your life and our community, and then pledge your cheerful gift to our church for 2025. When we give cheerfully, we support all the programs, staff, and facility needs that keep our church humming along as an asset in our neighborhood and beyond.

ministry of our church. In countless ways, we live the fullness of God’s glory here in West Hills, and we welcome
