ROAR! VBS

A summer kids’ event called Roar! VBS will be hosted at Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church from June 24 - 28, 2019 at 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM. At Roar, kids discover that God is good even when life gets wild! Kids participate in memorable Bible-learning activities, sing catchy songs, play teamwork-building games, devour yummy treats, experience one-of-a-kind Wild Bible Adventures, and collect Bible Memory Buddies to remind them of God’s love. Plus, kids will learn to look for evidence of God all around them through something called God Sightings. Each day concludes with the Safari Celebration that gets everyone involved in living what they’ve learned.
Roar is for kids going into preschool to fourth grade and will run from 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM each day.

VBS Volunteers
Are you interested in volunteering for VBS 2019? We can help with that – there are many opportunities for you to be a VBS helper!
Whether you’d prefer to be ‘behind the scenes’ or love to be ‘in the action’, there is a role for you.
We need volunteers in all of these areas: set-up, decorating, daily clean-up, volunteer meal prep, snack prep, small group helpers, greeters, section helpers, time keeper, or just ‘floating’ for odd jobs that come up through the week. .

VBS Donations
Vacation Bible School is just around the corner and if you are looking for a way to help and are unable to
volunteer in person, we have an opportunity for you! We are in need of many supplies in preparation for VBS. We know what we need and you are welcome to donate the supplies for the week or donate a gift card. You can leave your donations in the narthex or drop off in the office.
