From the Ashes: VBS 2026

Helping our children find the resilience to rise, try again, and remember they are never alone.
“When you pass through the waters, I will be with you... When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze.” – Isaiah 43:2
VBS 2026 brings five days of faith-based activities directly to churches, serving children from kindergarten through fifth grade with a schedule of Bible stories, arts, and games. The curriculum focuses on resilience and divine presence during difficult times, using scriptural themes such as the Burning Bush and the Red Sea to illustrate God's support.
VBS at a Glance

Designed for campers in Kindergarten through 5th grade.

A unique partnership between our congregation and Lutheran Retreats, Camps & Conferences (LRCC) to bring the authentic "Summer Camp experience" directly to our church.

Monday through Friday, 9:00 am – 3:00 pm.

$50 per camper
A Typical Day at Camp (Sample Schedule)

9:00 am: Registration & Check-In.

9:10 am: Opening Gathering.

9:45 am: Bible Story.

10:15 am: Morning Snack.

10:30 am: Games & Art.

11:30 am: "Campfire Time".

11:50 am: Lunch.

1:00 pm: All-Camp Activity.

1:30 pm: Interest Sessions.

2:30 pm: Closing Gathering.
Parent Information & Requirements

Health Forms: All campers must have a current health form on file.

Daily Needs: Parents should ensure campers come prepared for active play.

Safety: The program is led by trained LRCC staff and supervised by local church volunteers.
