About The Event
St. Luke's, Woodland Hills is hosting and organizing the first Twin Valleys Conference-wide God's Work, Our Hands service day! “God’s work. Our hands.” Sunday provides an opportunity to serve our neighbors in new ways and with new partners. Across the country, thousands of ELCA members will be engaging in service work to make a positive change in their communities, build and deepen relationships, and share God’s love.
There will be 2 service projects. One group will be inside at St. Luke's making blankets to be donated to NoHo Alliance and to Hope of the Valley at Central Lutheran for distribution to families in need. A second group will be walking Ventura Blvd, picking us trash, painting over graffiti, and spruce up the neighborhood.
